It’s easy to lose sight from time-to-time in this crazy world. Our lives are so hectic and busy. We’re so devoted to our real jobs. Film production is so involved. Animation is so thrilling, but constantly evolving and changing and I feel like I have to break-neck-run to barely keep up.
(—also what makes me love it)
BUT really the things that make me stop and realize why I love doing what I do is little moments like this:
...telling our own stories has always been my motivation for any of it. Mariela is hilarious, makes me laugh tears and is always game to step in to help me. This was just a camera test (*using my own equipment and TIME obviously—but I want to be CRYSTAL CLEAR for anyone wondering. And if you still have questions, you should ask me directly and I will gladly clear up any misconceptions you have.)
This video was kind of the crux for a whole new world opening up to me, in its own weird little way. Endless thanks, Lady.
In other news, production on our podcast is pretty stalled out right now, but Northern California rainy season is upon us and winter break abounds, so hopefully it will pick up soon. I have so much going on that I refuse to beat myself up about not making progress. Climb one mountain at a time.
